Lyric Theatre Company is proud of our history, and even prouder of our progress. We acknowledge that some of our past productions do not reflect our current practice of anti-racism. Various productions archived below include outdated, offensive depictions of the mistreatment of marginalized groups, cultural appropriation, and harmful stereotypes. It was wrong then, and it is wrong now. Rather than remove all evidence of this content, we want to acknowledge its damaging impact and let it spark meaningful change for our organization and our community.
