For nearly 50 years, Lyric Theatre Company has been part of the dynamic arts community in the area. For the past several years, Lyric Theatre Company has awarded $2,000 to an area high school senior to help support their interest in pursuing an education in the performing arts. This scholarship, The Delano-Nulty Award, honors two of Lyric’s founding members—Howard Delano and Polly Nulty.

The Lyric Community is proud to present The 2023 Delano-Nulty Award to Caitlin Balón of Burlington and Lily James Roberts of Bristol!
Caitlin is a 2022 graduate of Rice Memorial High School and recently appeared in Lyric’s production of Into the Woods. In the fall she will head to New York City to attend Barnard College of Columbia University. Lily is a recent graduate of Mount Abraham Union High School and will also be relocating to New York City in the fall to pursue a BFA in Dramatic Arts at The New School. Congratulations, Caitlin and Lily!
