Volunteer - Lyric Theatre Company

For every one person on stage in a Lyric Theatre production, there are at least three others who have contributed their behind-the-scenes talent to bring the show to life. Volunteers work with Lyric for many reasons. Some want to share a talent in sewing costumes or set building, some want to learn new skills and make new friends with a shared love of theatre.

Whether you have one hour to give or twenty, all we ask of our volunteers is their commitment and willingness to learn from one another. Joining Lyric Theatre is a great way to meet new people and share the excitement of producing a wide variety of productions for our community!

If you don’t have time to volunteer, please consider becoming a sustaining member. Lyric Members help to support our theatre company in so many ways, and receive some great benefits.

For Current Volunteers
Crew Chiefs should be reporting the names and titles of volunteers for membership purposes, in lieu of traditional hour reporting. STAYING SAFE AT LYRIC IN 2023

Lyric Theatre Company remains committed to keeping our members and community safe, and we thank you for you cooperation, patience, and flexibility over the last few years. Currently, we ask that you refrain from entering the Lyric Creative Space or attending Lyric functions if you are experiencing any symptoms of respiratory illness, and follow all Vermont Department of Health guidelines regarding testing, isolation, and treatment. Masks are currently optional, though all our volunteers are welcome to do what makes them most comfortable. Masking may become encouraged by various artistic teams at certain points, especially in the run-up to performances. All policies regarding health and safety are subject to change at the discretion of the Board and Executive Director.
